Because Libra is a cardinal sign, the start of Libra season also marks the start of Fall. This air sign, ruled by Venus, is the strategist of the zodiac. And because Venus is in the mix Libra's are always looking to create social harmony, often having a knack for knowing the exact right thing to add or subtract from any given situation to create a balance. Libra's are known often as people pleasers - while also being seen, thanks to Venus, as stylish and sometimes a bit of a flirt.

The symbol of the scales is certainly a nod to their striving for balance and harmony. but it's also a hint to their other side as well. While they do want to make everything better, sometimes sacrificing themselves for the good of the group, they also have a sharp sense of justice and won't hesitate to sever ties or make sharp judgements if they need to. If you're bringing down the vibes for everyone, a Libra won't hesitate to kick you out. Libra season is a time for us to focus on balance and harmony in our lives and in our relationships. The second house is the house of money, value and possessions. With Libra in your second house this is your season to evaluate your spending habits and make sure your discretionary income is going to people, causes and business that align with your values. 

Wine Pairing:  While you're double checking your budget to make sure you put your money where your mouth is sip on some Grechetto. Grechetto an Italian white grape that's medium bodied, bright and slightly salty. Bright and clean but still with a bit of romance. 

3rd House (Leo Rising) 

The third house is the house of communications, siblings, and daily rituals. With Libra in your third house this is the perfect time to pitch new ideas, start a project or new daily routine or strengthen the bonds with your neighbors, roommates or siblings. 

Wine Pairing: While you're polishing your pitch letter for your new project grab a glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The famous French blend is the perfect combination of creative and boisterous Leo and balanced romantic Libra. 

4th House (Cancer Rising) 

The fourth house is the house of home, family, caregivers and your ancestry. This is your season to brings some harmony and balance into your living space. Get organized, bring in some fresh flowers or plants to add some beauty to your home or spend time with close family.

5th House (Gemini Rising)

8th House (Pisces Rising)

Libra in the 8th house and especially Libra season means this is the time to make sure your shared finances are negotiated fairly. Wine Pairing:  While you're writing up your 10 point plan (you are a Capricorn after all) have a glass of St. Laurent. St. Laurent is a somewhat obscure red grape that is partially related to Pinot Noir. It's a combination of structure and balance that mirrors the Capricorn and Libra energy here. 

11th House (Sagittarius Rising)

12th House (Scorpio Rising)
