Wine for the Week Ahead is our new weekly newsletter offering. Ever since we started Blackthorn we’ve wanted to find a way to talk about wine without all the jargon, without lecturing and frankly without forcing wine facts down your throat. We love wine but more than anything we think wine is an important part of life, a small ritual in the midst of the chaos of the world.
So now every week you can learn what's happening astrologically and discover wines that fit the moment. This is wine in context. It's wine as a part of whatever small ritual you want to create for yourself, whether that's sipping it under a full moon or just cracking a bottle with your favorite weeknight meal.
Weekly newsletters go out every Monday morning. You can also explore the past archive below. Archived newsletters are posted by Thursday of the week they're released. If you want to know first, you've got to be on the list.
Wine for the Week Ahead
This is our weekly newsletter offering where we look at the upcoming astrology and pair it with wine. Are we official, licensed and sanctioned astrologers? No. Not at all. Please do not base your health, happiness or financial future on any astrological advice or insights we provide.
What we can do is a bit of research, let you know what we think is happening in the sky and what that might mean and then find a wine for the exact situation / vibe / energy. It's fun, try it.
Each week we also pull a tarot card and talk about the wine we have paired with that card. The card pull is random each week so hopefully something about the pull that week speaks to you. As you will see in our bio's above, we are also not official tarologists (that's the real word for it, I looked it up). Our insights are our own, if they speak to you great, if not have a sip of wine and make up your own. That's how we did it any ways.
