Tasting Notes:
Crémant de Bourgogne Brut is produced with Pinot Noir and a small percentage of Chardonnay, vinified separately in small lots before assemblage and 15 months of aging sur lee.
Intense citrus, peach, custard apple and toasted brioche aromas with a lush, creamy textured mousse and a mouthwateringly vibrant acidity. Long, crisp, zesty and luxurious.

Cremant Wines:
Cremant is a traditional method sparkling wine from different regions of France. Basically it's made using the exact same method as Champagne, but it’s not from Champagne so you can’t call it that. Plus, these different regions are known for growing different grapes so instead of the standard 3 grapes from Champagne - Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay - cremant can be made from any number of different grapes.
Burgundy, France:
Burgundy is located in eastern central France and generally has a continental climate so cold winters and warm summers. Of all of the wine regions in the world that are famous for producing red wines, Burgundy is the coolest and most norther. There are really only 2 grapes produced in Burgundy, Red Burgundy or Bourgogne Rouge is Pinot Noir and White Burgundy or Bourgogne Blanc is Chardonnay. There are a few other grape varieties grown here but they typically play much smaller roles.
Food & Wine Pairing:
This wine is clean, fruity and balanced which makes it a perfect partner food food. Pairs well with anything from seafood to chicken and waffles. The bubbles and the acidity can pair with lighter dishes or help cut through some of the richness of fried foods or salty snacks.
Bottle Size:
This size bottle is referred to as a Magnum, it is 1.5 liters of wine so twice the amount of a regular, 750ml, wine bottle. Interested in the terms for other larger format bottles? Well, after a Magnum you can get a Double Magnum, a Jeroboam, an Imperial, a Salmanazar, a Balthazar, and finally a Nebuchadnezzar which is the equivalent to 20 standard bottles of wine!
