2021 Bisci Verdicchio di Matelica 375ml

This 2021 Bisci Verdicchio Di Matelica is 100% Verdicchio from their estate vineyards along the foothills of the Apennine mountains in the Le Marche wine region. The wine was fermented and aged in cement tanks to help preserve a fresh flavor and some rich texture. 

The nose has a ton going on, with intense tropical aromas and loads of white flowers along with notes of green apple. The palate is just as intense, this is not a shy wine. With flavors of apple blossom and peach skin, zesty citrus notes that come out in the zippy acidity, notes of nectarine, honeycrisp apple, ginger and pops of salinity. 

This is a great summer wine and pairs perfectly with everything from prosciutto wrapped melon to to fresh seafood dishes
