Get ready to feel all the feels this week. There's really only one piece of astrology that we're discussing this week, and it's all about Cancer - the deeply intuitive, fiercely loyal, and profoundly emotional sign. 

 

So here's what's happening. On June 1st, Mercury moves into Cancer. Mercury is the planet of speech, communication, decision-making, and generally the speed at which we process the world around us. As it moves into Cancer, we will feel a shift in communication, meaning more heartfelt conversations, stronger intuition, and a bigger focus on home and personal relationships. You may find that you're able to better name the emotions that you're feeling or get a clearer read on what someone close to you actually needs. 

 

Now this is a pretty common transit. Mercury was in Gemini now, it's moving into the next sign over as it does every year. But while this transit starts fairly routine, that's pretty much where it ends. Mercury is a fast-moving planet, so it is often moving from sign to sign. But this time, instead of spending the typical 2.5 to 3 weeks in Cancer and then moving on to Leo, Mercury is going to station retrograde in Cancer at the end of June. Which means it will be in Cancer for more like 2.5 months, hanging out here until early August. 

 

The other unusual part of this transit is that when Mercury moves into Cancer, it is joining Jupiter and Venus, creating a Cancer stellium. Which means the planets of language, expansion, and love are all coming through the same emotional register. Basically, this is your time to feel your way through life, literally. Let your intuition and your emotions guide you.

Light, restrained, and sometimes overlooked, Trebbiano offers citrus and almond with a clean, restrained finish. It’s a wine that doesn’t demand attention but can quietly soothe.
