2023 Karanika Cuvee Speciale Extra Brut

This Cuvee Speciale Extra Brut is a blend of 90% Xinomavro and 10% Assyrtiko. Aromas of lime, bruised apples and citrus, with a hint of salt and roses. Creamy yet fresh and crisp acid with the flavour of freshly harvested strawberries. It is quite dry, showing off the naturally high acidity of the Xinomavro grape in a beautiful balance and matching the bitterness of walnut peel. Has a long and complex aftertaste.
Zodiac Pairing: Leo. Leo energy is radiant, expressive and often a little bit dramatic. And if that's not sparkling wine then I don't know what is. And a rare Greek sparkling comprised of 90% of a brooding red grape like Xinomavro and a zippy and zesty white grape like Assyrtiko is even more Leonine.
