The Wine: Created in 1908 Châteaux La Ferme Rouge is an agricultural estate dedicated to the cultivation of grapevines and olive trees. Château La Ferme Rouge enjoys a unique location at the heart of the Zaërs region, highly praised among the great historical wine regions of Morocco. Today, Morocco produces about 40 million bottles of wine annually, but only about 5 percent is exported.
This 2024 Vin Gris Rosé is 100% Cinsault from organically farmed red clay vineyards in the Zaer AOG region of Morocco. It’s aged in stainless steel and is bright, refreshing and full of red fruit notes like wild strawberry and spicy minerality.
Zodiac Pairing: Cancer. Cancer is a softer sign, on the inside at least. It's emotional and nurturing and nostalgic. This rosé with a deep history in a country that keeps most of their wines in their home very much embodies the energy of the crab.
