Henri Champliau Cremant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé Magnum
Note: This is a magnum size, so the equivalent of 2 regular bottles of wine.
Henri Champliau is a family-owned sparkling wine producer in Mercurey, located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy. Alexandre Graffard founded the company, named after his grandfather, in 2016
Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé is produced with Pinot Noir and small percentages of Chardonnay and Gamay, vinified separately in small lots before assemblage and 15 months of aging sur lee. Only three percent of still red wine is blended in to achieve a pale pink color.
Tasting Notes: A beautiful pale pink robe, a delicate nose of white flowers and red fruits, a precise and intense mouth. Dominating the blend, the Pinot Noir brings elegance and power, while the freshness of Chardonnay and the delicacy of Gamay complete the balance of this cuvée.
